Melanie, your comparison is so vivid!
And your idea about keeping it simple (Kiss:-)works so well. Because I'm a lazy cook, we often eat low on the food chain. So for dinner we might have asparagus, sweet potato and high protein pasta with sauteed mushrooms and a bit of chicken: we happily eat our way through a long dinner together -- and have enough calories left for a glass of wine!
